Position: New York Islanders Game Night Crew

I. SUMMARY
Under general direction and supervision, this position is responsible for assisting with the ticket sales game day experience, as well as supporting leadership. As part of the Game Night Crew, you will become an integral member of the team supporting sales. This position is part-time, but will require late nights and open availability for a majority of the New York Islanders home games and events, in addition to some Barclays Center events. The incumbent must be available 1.5 hours before each game starts, until relieved by their supervisor which may include the duration of the game.

II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
– Interacts with fans and season ticket holders;
– Manages game and contest participation;
– Works closely with other New York Islanders Ticket Sales Staff and assists when needed;
– Researches and learns about New York Islanders sales products, benefits and pricing to advise fans and season ticket holders;
– When approached, will discuss pricing and market comparison to other teams;
– Assists with VIP events and check-ins as needed;
– Performs other duties as requested.

III. QUALIFICATIONS
The qualifications listed below represent the credentials necessary to perform the essential functions of this position. A. Education and/or Experience
– Sports and entertainment experience a plus, but not required;
– Previous experience working with the organization preferred.

B. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
– Must be able to adapt to a fast paced environment where attention to detail is critical;
– Must possess exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal);
– Must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks;
– Must be able to maintain proper/professional decorum;

IV. WORKING CONDITIONS
A. Travel Requirements: This position may require travel up to 5%.
B. Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
C. Work Environment: He/she will be expected to attend New York Islanders games at the Barclays Center, as well as other events that may take place on weekends and/or holidays.
