Server at BIER MARKT Queensway
Primary Focus: The Server’s primary responsibilities are to provide professional, knowledgeable, genuinely friendly, food and beverage service to all guests in a timely manner and according to the brands steps of service. Detailed Activities/Tasks: – Helps to seat guests – Serves the guest in a professional manner so they are not left wanting or needing anything during their visit and following the steps of service – Listens to guests and suggests items that meet their needs and will enhance their experience – Processes guests orders and payments – Lives and breathes the brand – continually uses brand lingo and promotes the brand – Performs related maintenance/cleaning duties as required – Performs other duties as required – Follows safe food handling procedures at all times – Adheres to the Health and Safety policies and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Program Required Education – Provincial Responsible Alcohol Service Training – Prud’homme Bier Certification, Level 1 – The Bier Enthusiast Required Experience – 1-2 years previous experience as a Server in a similar environment Technical Skills and Knowledge – Well-spoken/articulate with a wide variety of people. – Communicates effectively. – SMILES. – Friendly. – Self-confident, cheerful, congenial, enthusiastic, outgoing and energetic. – Team Oriented: demonstrates respect for and a willingness to help in other job functions. – Thrives in a fast-paced environment. – Financially responsible and able – accurately follows cash out procedures. – Able to multi-task. – Clean, groomed and stylish appearance. – Creates a positive first impression. – Demonstrates professionalism.
