Located at 1 Yonge St. in downtown Toronto, Wirkn is a startup set on disrupting employment in the shift-based retail and hospitality industry through a mobile-first application and job marketplace.

Led by seasoned entrepreneur, Derek Szeto (previously founder of RedFlagDeals.com) and founded by Francois Jobin (previously the VP of HR and eCommerce at ALDO Group), Wirkn is quickly making waves in the on-demand employment market. We’re looking for an energetic individual who is comfortable on the phone to help candidates get jobs!

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Assist with user acquisition across all channels including but not limited to digital, content, events, offline, phone, etc
-Representing Wirkn at events and capture leads
-Create and support marketing campaigns and content
-Demonstrate product to customers (user/businesses)
-Maintain contact and support existing customers
-Build relationship with the community and partners
-Prepare administrative tasks for onboarding new businesses or users
-Provide required operational and marketing support to team lead

REQUIREMENTS

-Highly flexible and enjoy doing a variety of tasks
-Outgoing & personable
-Highly energetic, positive and willing to learn
-Digital skills in ads, copywriting, content creation
-Design skills in Photoshop, Illustrator is a plus
-Fast learner and quick to adapt
-Excellent communication skills

COMPENSATION

-This is a contract role that can evolve into full-time employment based on performance. Starting pay range $11-$15/hour based on experience.
